The Process
Track Components produce the yearly estimated requirement for a customer’s component in one manufacturing batch. This allows customers to call off parts from stock to suit demand. Cost reductions are achieved due to the cell only having to be set up once a year. The increased volume produced also allows higher investment in tooling and automation, further enhancing the process.
This is not just limited to the in house value added process, but extends to bulk material purchasing and out work processes.
Additional part numbers that Track Components supplies in an assembly, also reduce costs as logistics costs can be spread across multiple part numbers being delivered to a customer’s production line.
Stock Monitoring
Current stock levels can be monitored online via the customer portal.
If your company uses barcoding, RFID or any other form of inventory management, this can be implemented prior to dispatch. Simply inform Track Components of your company’s data format and they will do the rest.
Track Components customer portal shows stock levels available for delivery, to give total peace of mind and control of your products.
